COMPUTERIZED VIDEOKERATOSCOPES
WHAT DO THE MAPS TELL US?
Radial Keratotomy (RK)
The corneal shape of patients
following radial keratotomy (RK)
can be visualized and any changes
in shape with time following the
surgery can be quantified. These
corneas are flatter in the center
and steeper in the periphery-the
opposite of the cornea prior to
the procedure. The maps help if
additional refractive procedures
are required.
